I remember asking myself what work will engage me in the next chapter of my life.  Having a passion for people, history, and teaching, the answer became clear: to become a Tour Guide and share my knowledge and enthusiasm for The Land of Israel.

My life has been blessed with a multitude of experiences. Before immigrating to Israel (Aliyah) in 1989 from the USA, I owned  a wholesale plumbing business on Long Island, NY which I loved and in which I excelled. And then I met Racheli, who was born and raised on a kibbutz in the Negev. We moved to the kibbutz, and I worked as a farmer - planting, irrigating, and harvesting. After leaving the kibbutz, I then studied here in Israel and became a sucessful practical civil engineer, coordinating and building custom villas. Together Racheli and I have three wonderful children; a beautiful teenage daughter and two boys who have finished their army service and are now studying in the university. My wife received her PhD with an expertise in butterflies and ecology. While she was working I chose to be with the children who have now grown up. Now I have entered the next phase of my life.

After graduating at the top of my class in a rigorous 2 year course administered by the Israel Tourism Ministry, I received my government tour guide license. I am happy to say that my excitement for guiding has continued to increase exponentially as I guide the varied religious, archeological, and nature sites that abound within Israel.

No less meaningful to me, I have found that I am excited to be sharing my enthusiasm with others. As it turns out, my enthusiasm seems to be contagious. My appetite for knowledge seems to know no limits as there is always another historical alley to explore and story to be discovered. These alleys are where I invite you to join me and witness the dynamic history and colorful life mosaics that I have learned to bring to life to those for whom I guide. Experience this past history, the present state, and the future possibilites that are ever present through out the country. I look forward to embarking with you on this magical mystery tour here in the Land of Israel.
